Gunmen Kill Abducted Doctor in Edo

One of the two medical doctors abducted by suspected gunmen in Edo State has been killed, heightening concerns over the worsening security situation in the state.

The doctors were reportedly kidnapped by armed assailants at an undisclosed location, sparking anxiety within the medical community and among residents. While efforts were said to be ongoing to secure their release, it was gathered that one of the abducted doctors was later killed by the captors.
